Bookmark ribbons

BibleNotes has three ribbons, like a printed Bible. Use them to keep your place in up to three readings.

  1. Place a ribbon

    Select a verse, tap the Bookmark button in the menu and choose Red, Gold or Blue.

  2. Move a ribbon

    Placing a ribbon that's already in use moves it to the new spot. There are always just three.

  3. Jump to a ribbon

    Open the ⋯ menu and choose a ribbon to go straight to its place.

  4. Remove a ribbon

    Select the verse with the ribbon, open the Bookmark menu and choose Remove.

  1. Place a ribbon

    Go to the chapter you want to mark. In the bar above the text, click an empty ribbon (Red, Gold or Blue) to set it here.

  2. Jump to a ribbon

    Click a placed ribbon in the bar and choose Go To, or click it in the sidebar under Bookmarks.

  3. Move a ribbon

    Remove the ribbon (next step), go to the new place, then click the empty ribbon to set it there.

  4. Remove a ribbon

    Click the ribbon in the bar and choose Remove Bookmark, or right-click it in the sidebar and choose Remove.

Tip: Ribbons sync with iCloud, so your place follows you to every device.
